Faiz M Chowdhury's journey towards significantly impacting the world was rooted in his dedication to higher education. He began this journey at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His pursuit of knowledge continued with completing the Stanford Advanced Project Management Program and an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, he completed a Real Estate Executive Seminar program at Harvard Business School. This diverse educational background provided him with a strong foundation in technical knowledge and leadership skills, essential for addressing complex global challenges. His career underwent a pivotal transformation when he joined Intel Corporation in 1997. During his tenure at Intel, he gained a profound understanding of the transformative power of technology and its potential to uplift humanity. This realization, combined with his early life experiences, inspired him to envision a world free from hunger, poverty, pollution, and deadly diseases, motivating him to leave Intel to pursue this vision.
A significant turning point in his career occurred in 2009 when he met MIT Professor Ian W. Hunter, a renowned inventor with an impressive portfolio of over 200 patents. This encounter led him to join Nucleus Scientific, Inc., a company founded by Professor Hunter that was developing groundbreaking "in-wheel" motor technology, an essential advancement in electrifying the mobility industry. He co-founded Quantum Age Corporation (QAC) in collaboration with Professor Hunter. As CEO, he spearheaded the development of various innovative technologies, including fast-charging solutions, net-negative solar vehicles, early cancer detection methods, and highly efficient, fast-growing tree species for carbon sequestration. His ventures also expanded into exploring next-generation solid-state and graphene-enhanced battery technologies, tag and trace systems, and proprietary blockchain-based carbon trading and fintech solutions. Throughout his career, Faiz was instrumental in assembling a team of exceptional entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, and business executives. This team was crucial in bringing these technologies from concept to commercialization, significantly addressing vital global issues and driving positive change.
